I love Toronto! It’s the only big city I’ve ever loved! We left there in 1972 and I haven’t been back. Learned to sail in Toronto Bay!
Maybe I’ll catch an Air Canada flight for my trip to Italy early next winter–there is one that stops in Toronto…. !!

Are you living in Anchorage right now? If so, I have an Aunt and Uncle in Wasilla, and NO….they are not named Palin….. :)

Nah, no more: permanent homesickness. Now I live in what is scarily referred to as the Seattle-Tacoma I-5 corridor. Hence my feelings of pressure from people and paving!

If I were in AnchorTown, I’d look up your relatives, but only because they are NOT named Palin. Don’t get me started. >:-D

I have driven that SeaTac corridor many times. I am from Eugene, went to most of HS in Salem, and used to drive to Mariners games all the time. Sure a lot more scenic than here in Texas….. :)

Next, I should list how many addresses I had in each city! I’m not even sure that list of cities is complete; that was off the top of my head one day!

The moving around has made me what I am, which I’m not sure what to call, but here I be!

Certo! I was a toddler–3 yo– when we lived in Taranto, so I don’t have many stories. There was the time I hung over the sill of the giant tilt-out window and gave heart-thumps to my mother.

Or, my brother, who was 4, and I refusing to speak the Italian dialect my parents did. We had Maria, our housekeeper who apparently taught the two of us quite idiomatic Italian! >:-D

However, if you say “Subito!” to me right now, I’ll likely hop to it! >:-D

I have seen that you do retreats in Italy. I think I saw that Orvieto is coming this spring. ?? arrrrgggghhhh….. so very much want to go…. Since I’m not dead yet, I’m not discounting any possibilities! <:-D
