CapriSun juices–Halloween update

Every kid oooh-ed and ahhhh-ed over the juices and each one took one!  We were amazed!  A 13-year-old banana actually asked if he could barter some of his candy for a second juice!  I gave him a second one without the exchange.

And…  it was a weirdly quiet Halloween:  usually we have 30+ kids and we had around 10!  We go to bed early because the Big Mister gets up at 4:00 a.m., so maybe the kids were around, but we didn’t get our usual batch of little kids, who are dog-gone cute!

Ah well.  At least we don’t have 20 lbs of candy leftover!  Score!

Glad to hear Halloween went well and you got to bed early. My partner and I go to bed unusually early, as well. Have a great day.

Thank you! I did fear we could be in trouble, what with the weird treat selection! Did you do Halloween stuff?

    You too, enjoy your day.

Yip, it was quiet one here too. But better structured. for some reason, we always seem to get a few chancers in the nights running up to halloween, and there’s always random fireworks for a few nights either side too, but not this year. And all our ToTs had put plenty of effort into their costumes, AND were of a reasonable age to be on such a mission! (Here I’ll have to refer you to one of my favourite blogs: http://crabbyoldfart.wordpress.com/2011/10/23/god-damned-teenage-trick-or-treaters-drive-me-batty/#respond)
Also, I’ve been trying to find a Capri Sun ad from when I was about 10 for you. It featured 2 claymation people, one drinking squash and the other drinking Capri Sun. Formative stuff… Will let you know if I track it down!

Just to show my priorities: I LOVE claymation! Cracks me up. Huge fan of Shawn the Sheep and Wallace and Grommit (sp?). Please do let me know if you find it!

Kids before the day AND fireworks? I don’t recall ever hearing fireworks on Halloween.

Went to that site and laughed all the way through his rant. Hilarious! Needs to be read aloud! Thank you for sending me there.
